Task 1 Michael Kors AW14

Michael Kors autum winter collection gives winter a glamour feel. The AW collection is mainly a stony grey colour palette. He is all about clothes that are uncomplicated and effortless to wear with ease and comfort this showed in his autum winter collect for 2014. t blouses and style this collection has is 70's shapes

Throught thisM ichale Kors collection fur can be found in coats, scarves and trims. From watching the collection you notice all the skirt hemlines are about mid-lenght and he makes use of fringing this can also be found on the hand held bags. Many of his designs were casual yet dressed up with sparkel chiffon and sheer materials. This can be seen in the image below with a grey silk dress and a mannish trench coat

Makeup

Dick Page was the Makeup artist for Michael Kors AW14 looks. The skin was the main focus of the look with a barley there foundation giving the skin a clean matte complexion with a bronzed cheek highlighted with bronze powder. The models had various shades of warm orange colours. The lips were given a slight mauve/pinky colour and this was also seen on the modles eyesfor a just bitten effect whilst “The fall look is an amplified version of the Michael Kors natural beauty we’ve all come to love,” This is how Dick page describes the look

Hair

The hair was understated displaying wispy updos with a slightly unfinshed undone look. This is a look all women can relate to and is easy going with minimal fuss and can be worn daily. This follows along side the natural makeup images

Michale Kors is all about relaxed and natural beauty and this is clearly shown through his entire autunm winter 14 collection with his relaxed style clothing with a touch of glamour the understaed fresh makeup look and natural hair. I think this is a great look and really allows you to look at the simple side of beauty and not over complicate things. I wouldnt change anything about this collection as it all works perfectly well and the hair clothes and makeup all compliment each other.
