Task 1 Dolce and Gabbanna SS15 Milan

Many of the fashion designers for this season followed the minimalist and free spirt syle of the 1970's however Dolce and Gabbanna used Italian history during their spring summer show. The inspitation for this collection was Inspired by the heritage of the Spanish culture on Sicily-A tale of dark romance set the scene, inte love and beauty expressed with black lace, crimson reds and intricate embellishments.

Dolce and Gabbanna bring sexy back they showcased sheer midi skirts, jeweled hot pants and decorative detailed dresses. Red and black were significant colours in the collection as were lace and embellishment. The heart motif was also seen throughout of the collection and could be found embroidered or printed on almost every look. DOLCE & GABBANA SS15 - MILAN FASHION WEEK Structured matador jackets, embellished capes and tasseled ponchos were updated and given the signature D&G treatment with abundant amounts of deluxe lace, outstanding floral needlework and iconic religious mentions

The designs were femine and glamours. I found these designs very inspirational and is something i would like to try and create . There was a short finale to close the show all the models wore red satin shorts embroidered with flowers and worn with crisp white shirts. This was a very bold, sexy and statement close to the shwo

The Hair was intensely centre-parted and slicked into a tight low bun decorated with blood-red carnations (Domenico’s mother’s favourite), oversized golden earrings and decorative crowns. Industry famous, makeup artist Pat McGrath transformed models into Latino-beauties with thick dark brows, bold flicked eyeliner and sultry wine-red lips.Hair and make-up did not fail to impress, making as much of an impact as the outfits themselves

The makeup look for Dolce and Gabbanna SS15 was flawless matte skin, the eyelashes were lightly mascared and the lips were berry red. Many of the models also had a black cat eyeliner flick. This is a timeless glamous look.

Guido Palau is the hair designer. The hair is femine, latin south of spain. Strong centre parting softer over the ear. The hair is very spainsh. He usedtwo key prodcust redkin texturising product finsihed with Redkin hairspray so minimal prodcut used.

The models had hair acccesiors such as bring red flowers matching the lips and some even wore castanette which gave a spainsh feel. The hair completes the look making it pretty feminin and desirable. The hair is classic simple yet polished. No fuss
