The colours orang blue black and white were used throughout the collection with intricate embroidery complemented by striking makeup and hair. The artistic patterns enhance the ss15 collection with the texture of florals and varsity patches. This looked is playful yet sophicated and polished.

Hair

Allan Wood from Bumble & bumble was the hair stylist for the collection. The hair for the spring collection is softly braided and tossed over the shoulder, in a casual way its is swept loose locks from the face. The plaits and twists create Tanya Taylor's fresh approach to feminine style. The hair was parted in the centre and slicked flat to the head some of the models can be seen with a losse braid at the back of the hair. Allan wood used Bumble & bumble products to create the look. He used thickening spray and Dryspun, a texture spray to create and add texture to the hair style.

How to create this look

Start with a cleancenter parting to keep the hair looking tidy
Add in Thickening Hairspray to achieve that shiny look
Next apply Dryspun Finish, a texturizing spray that is powdery and clear, from mid-length down to create the consistency for the ends.
Finish off the look by creating loose, undone braids tossed over your shoulders

Makeup

The Makeup for the SS15 collection is a striking look that highlighted clean, radiant glowing skin, bold orange lips and an illuminated cheek. The lip colour was created by NARS this brings out the colour in the outifits. It completes the barely there makeup look and complements the loose braids. It is modern glamour which is achievable to the everyday women.

A statement lip can complete an outfit by adding a tint of colour and definition. Uzo from NARS was the makeup artist for Tanya Taylor SS15. The clean fresh skin helped to define and dramatise the lip. This was created using tinted moisturiser to give the glow and natural effect. The skin had a bearly there makeup natural finish with a brightness highlighting around the cheek and eye areas. For this look the eye makeup was minimal she used a light orange shadow on the lid. The lips were a bold Orange this was created using a Nars satin Lip. This is a bold choice and different to the classic safe red lip which is extremly popular. It is a simple effect and wearable. I myself have never personally worn an orange lip buts it give a great summer feel and its something i am going to experiment with
