Love Magazine
After looking at various high end fashion magazine I have decided to carry out research on Love Magazine. This magazine instantly stood out to me compared to all the other magazine. It looks fun and interesting and at first glance appears very different to other magazines. I am interested to do some research into the magazine as personally I have never read a copy.
LOVE doesn’t follow fashion: it sets fashion’s agenda.

LOVE is a British style magazine founded in 2009 by stylist and fashion journalist Katie Grand, who is still the editor-in-chief. Unlike other high end fashion magazine it is bi-annual ( out just twice a year).
It is published in Spring/Summer and Autum/Winter. It is publiihed in various formats in print, on line and the i pad. It is published by Conde Nast

Love magazine comes across as different to the typical high fashion magazine. I find it very inspiring that it doesn't stick to the stereotypical image of beauty using a diverse range of model. Portraying that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, looks and styles. This really appeals to me. They rebel against the classic rules of fashion and definition of beautiful
Today to many people spend their life's comparing themselves to other people myself included
Love Magazine is inspirational for anyone who have a passion for fashion and is looking for inspirations in makeup hair and design. It shows why a particular fashion collection looks the way it looks aswell as what the fashion is, where and who it came from, and where it will be heading next season in line with the current trends
The first ever copy of Love Magazine featured Beth Ditto lead singer from the band The Gossip, who posed naked on the front cover

The LOVE reader
The LOVE reader is not a women who is looking for a magazine to tell her what to wear she already she is propbably already on trend and has a good idea of what she wants but Love may help inspire her it tells her more about the ideas and fashion which are defining the season. LOVE also explains to her why she loves what she loves. The LOVE readers loves luxury as much as she loves irreverence this is why these women identify with LOVE and can't wait for the edition to be realsed
I think the target audience for Love magazine is 18-40. The articles within the magazine appeal to both the younger and older audiences. Celebrities such as Justin Bibier, Kylie Jenner and Miley Cyrus attract the younger audiences. The magazine targets women that are interested in high fashion and designers such as Alexander Mqueen, Vivienne Westwood and many other famous designers are featured within the magazine
The magazine also features backstage coverage of different shoots and fashion shows. This appeals to a wide range of audiences. Anyone with a passion for fashion and beauty would love to go backstage and this allows them to have an insight.

The magazine is fun and interesting. Just by looking at the front cover you can clearly see there is something different about this magazine compared to many high end fashion magazine. The images used are very striking and beautiful. Often using risqué themes which gives the magazine a shock factor and pushes the boundary's more than many other front covers.
