Makeup Influences for Warrior Makeup
For my final design I have two main makeup artist who have inspired me. I want my makeup to be bold and striking and my main features are a bold strong Smokey eye and golden goddess glowing skin
Pat McGrath is my first inspiration as I want to create a strong dark Smokey eye. I feel this is a bold and strong sexy look which fits in perfectly with my theme of Amazon Warrior women

My second Makeup inspiration is Charlotte Tilbury The Golden Goddess is a signature look of her's. As my theme is mythology although an amazon warrior isn't a god I want to give her a godlike powerful image. I love this look it is especially flattering from a distance.
In a makeup practice I attempted bleached brows but as my model is dark like me it didn't work well and ended up looking grey and distracting from the Smokey eye which added the strong dramatic effect I wanted
To complete my look I am going to create a nude soft lip and simple groomed brows
I decided to use the tape method with my makeup I wanted to keep the Sharpe edge look throughout my costume and makeup so it all linked together. I believe small detail like this really ties the overall image together. Its often the small details which count and can effect the look and quality of the overall image
I really like the dark eye and I feel it will add the sex appeal to my image for my final look I am not going to include the gold. I want the eye to be a solid black. I am going to achieve this using Black track MAC and various black eye shadows and a black eye pencil.
Although I do like this gold effect makeup I think for my overall image I would rather use the black eye. it adds to the dramatic impact
