Greek Mythology is extremely popular. Amazon women are a very popular character within film even in present day. Within Greek Mythology The amazon are compared to men, they are seen as independent and fearless women who rode into battle. They were known as man killers.
The Warrior theme has been popular and it seems now more than ever. People enjoy watching powerful women it empowers then. There have been various characters within the media for many many years. They have all inspired me in different ways but throughout the women's image remains strong, independent, fearless and sexy.
Strong powerful women have always been desired, wanted and chased this is something I want to recreate in my costume and makeup

Xena warrior princess is my main inspiration for my whole theme. The amazon women are a greek myth and the story has been told over many years throughout time. I wanted to create a similar costume however I wanted to make the makeup more dramatic as she is very natural and this isn't the look I want. I want to create a sexy sun kissed sultry look. I want it to be glamorous yet effortless
